Catez Thermal Spa -

where once a gremlin hung about

Catez is Slovenia's largest spa and a top level health resort.

Long ago a creature, half human half billy goat, lived in this region. Told is, that always springs of best quality were found where the gremlin was seen. His name: Catež remained and so did the mineral water. Today the gremlin has a job as taleteller during winter season, entertaining the guests of Catez Thermal Spa's "Thermal Riviera".

The spa represents the combination of healing services based on 11 thermal water springs and an enormous offer of wellness and beauty programs.

In the lovely region of Rivers Krka and Sava, the hills of Gorjanci, in immediate vicinity of the famous Mokrice Castle a diamond of health and tourism arose.

The all-season spa brilliantly provides an extensive pool area, the Thermal Riviera, of 12.000 m2, including a Wellness and Beauty Center of top quality and a Sauna Park. The accratohyperthermal water (42 to 63°C) is used to treat mainly diseases as inflammatory and degenerative rheumatism, post-injury or - operative conditions of the locomotor system, neurological illness. Rehabilitation therapy after oncological operations is available too. Physiotherapy or balneo-, thermo-, kinesio- go without saying.
