18 km skiing slopes

Cerkno town itself, 10 km away, is directly connected by a well organised bus transfer. Located at the hillsides of the 1291m high Crni vrh, the skiing area provides 18 km skiing slopes, 5 km cross-country ski run and toboggan slopes as well. Boarding is allowed everywhere.

70 days skiing fun!

Snow conditions can be increased by snow guns if necessary, 55 such cannons will work the complete area in case nature is failing to do. A minimum of seventy days skiing fun can be guaranteed each winter season.

family friendly easy and medium slopes

The slopes are ranged from easy to medium and are connected among each other by an excellent net of ski lifts. Therefore this slovenian place is absolutely suitable to families to enable the parents doing their sport and the kids to learn it. They cannot lose track of each other.

Special Attraction: Two roofed chair lifts

A special attraction are the two roofed chair lifts, unique in Slovenia: the four persons lift in Brdo and the six persons one in Lom. Fine to have a roof over one's head in windy heights.

Several Skiing Schools

The Cerkno Skiing Center is scoring additionally by restaurants (some including an indoor playcorner for children), several skiing schools for Ski alpine, Carving, Snowboard, Telemark and a play school with a typical moving belt for the Mini's. Equipment rent and service go without saying.
