The most important starting points and tourist centres are those of Bled, Bohinj, Tolmin, Bovec and Kranjska Gora. You will find on the mountain chain many mountain cottages with available refreshments and overnight accommodations.
Bohinj
1. To Triglav (2864 m)
You ascent from Bohinj to Triglav over the Uskavnica alp. Your return will leed you through the triglav Lakes Valley (7 jezera) and through the Fuzinske planine alps – that is what we call a fairytale world.
2. To Prsivec (1761 m)
Here you will experience the gorgeous shine of the Julian Alps.
Bled
3. Through the Vintgar Gorge
Through the gorge you are accompanied by a blue-green mountain river.
4. To Debela Pec (2015 m)
You will hike through the deep Pokljuka forests to the panoramic peak on the edge of the plain, high above the Krma glacier valley.
