Kobla is part of the beautiful Bohinj skiing region. It is situated at the outskirts of Bohinjska Bistrica, a small village, which is told to be the origin of Slovenian skiing tourism. And Kobla is the only Slovenian skiing place that can be reached by train. Assures different comfort optionsBeing part of Bohinj area assures the comfort of bus shuttle between the different skiing places and a very special option: The ski pass can be also used as ticket for the Aqua Park. Snow cannons, providing the requested skiing ground by artificial "white splendour", resolve the fact that the lower slopes sometimes risk to have no or not enough snow.Clocks are ticking more slowlyAs this ski spot is a romantic and somewhat reposeful place, clocks are ticking more slowly than in other, mass focussed places. The ropeways here are not of the fastest category, but even so absolutely suitable for skier's transfer to the upper slopes.Three double-chair lifts and three t-bars are at service. The slopes are mainly stated as "medium" and "easy", one occurs as "difficult". Special Downhill Run of 6000 m lengthA specialty is "Kobla III", a downhill run of 6000 m length, which is popular with those who like very quick and long-distance slopes.
