In a height of 810 metres, Kranjska Gora is situated on the top of the Sava Valley, close to the border of Austria between the Julian Alps and the Karavenke Mountains. Snow boarding, ice climbing and ice skating are few of the various possibilities to spend a beautiful winter holiday.

Don't miss the Triglav National Park

A day in the Triglav national park takes you close to nature or up on the Triglav, Slovenia�s highest mountain. The landscape of its southern region is formed by glaciers, lakes and high alps. Especially in spring, the lake valley is nice to look at with all its flowers in full bloom. The alpine garden Juliana, south of the pass, shows the complete range of plants of the Julian Alps. The river Soča runs southwards from Triglav, crossing the Italian border � a paradise for rafting, canoeing and canyoning.
