Skocjanske jameThe stalactite caverns of Skocjanske jame have been added to the Unesco List of World Heritage sites in 1987. They are located close to and south from the stud farm and worth-while a visit. Beside the Adelsberger grotto the caves and cataracts of St. Kanzian are one of the most fascinating sights in the area. An underground river runs through the tremendous caverns and limestone formations.The adria is only an armlength awaySpending a day at the Adria takes you starting from Lipica about 40 minutes to the beach or a driving distance of five kilometres if you prefer the Italian Adria.
