Our eays tour around KobaridThe picture above shows me on an easy tour that started in Kobarid along the Nadiža river with only 25 km and 230 metres of altitude difference: Kobarid - Svino - Robic - Podbela - Borjana - Kobarid.Mountain Biking Trails of the AreaThe guidebooks covering the areas around Tolmin and Kobarid offer up to seventy three different cycling tours which run through the Soca Valley, through the Baca Gorge, alongside and above the Nadiža River, across Trebuša and the Šentvid Plateau until they finally reach what was previously the border of Italy to Venetian Slovenia.Three different tour rangesThe different tours range considerably in length and are divided into three grades as far as degrees of difficulty are concerned. The first grade is perfect for families with kids, the second for those bikers at intermediate level and the third and final grade is for experienced and advanced level riders.As you would expect the easy tours are across plateaus and based on valleys and the more difficult ones cover less easy to manage terrain with areas of steep elevation.
