The place is not only attracting citizens of Maribor or Graz (30 min away), but fans from all over the world. Also the professional elite is meeting here: The traditional Golden Fox (zlatna lisica) a World Cup Ladies Contest, excellently organised, is a highlight every year in January.

60 km slopes in total

Various slopes of about 60 km in total mainly marked as "easy" or "medium" invite the "non-professionals " to practise real recreational skiing. Manifold lifts and services are operating a minimum of 12 hours daily. Even nightskiing after 10 p.m. is possible at a floodlighted slope of 10km, or by using torches at another route.

100 days winter activities assured

Additionally 36 km of cross-country ski runs are at disposal as well as a toboggan run and a limited area for snowboarding. In case of snow lacking cannons will do their work and about 100 days winter activities can be assured.
