Slovenia Cities

Find here an overview of the Slovenia Cities reviewed on
all-slovenia-holidays.

The regular Slovenia traveller knows already that Slovenia’s cities and towns offer more than restaurants with delicious food and drink, history, churches, monuments or museums. They are also locations for numerous events, from traditional world-renowned events to minor festivities.

Ljubljana

Ljubljana - the capital of slovenia - is always worth a visit. Stroll and glaze along the Ljubljanica river - in summer with a delicious ice cream (for winter time we recommend the "white" mulled wine). The slovenian capital is fascinating all year around.

Maribor:

Maribor is slovenia’s second city after Ljubljana. The influence of Budapest and Vienna are apparent everywhere in food, wine, architecture and people.

Skofja Loka

The most beautiful medieval town in Slovenia is Skofja Loka. The Freising Bishops dominate its history, whose influence and reign spanned over 800 years in this region of Gorenjska.

Trzic:

Situated at the foot of Karavanke, Trzic is known for many traditional handicrafts. The maybe most important one is shoemaking and leatherwork but also blacksmith crafts.
